The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when National Team Cape-Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yin Yang Wei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Strömsbro IF defense, Fredric Melander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rıza Vuralhan. The Strömsbro IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rıza Vuralhan should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Bambas came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Browald in the 16th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Melander came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Fredric Melander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rıza Vuralhan. Igor Bambas ran back to his position shaking his head. Leon Fasgar kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Igor Bambas came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Bambas couldn't finish the play. The Strömsbro IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. National Team Cape-Verde were winning 1-2.

National Team Cape-Verde's Karl-Ove Sörman was substituted for Fredric Melander. 52 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariusz Snow. Rıza Vuralhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Ove Sörman's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasyl Zworski in the 64th minute of play. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Strömsbro IF from getting a goal against them. Rıza Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Snow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Bambas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Strömsbro IF's Igor Bambas in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye National Team Cape-Verde's goalie prevented a goal. Stig-Arne Bollström took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Sefastsson. Pål Sefastsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hjalmar Browald got free with Rıza Vuralhan in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Şahap Özgu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 minutes National Team Cape-Verde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tommy Asklöv who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tommy Asklöv almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson did a great save. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Sörman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Bollström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. National Team Cape-Verde were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
