Polly Magoo Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredric Melander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Roland Björklund threw the ball into play from the sideline. Polly Magoo Juniors's Roy Johnsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 9th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omero Zubiaga to maneuver through the defense. Hjalmar Browald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14th minute of the game Roland Björklund made a throw-in which Henrik Örnberg played forward. Hjalmar Browald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Markus Fågel came out and tried to block the shot, but Hjalmar Browald slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute of the match, Hjalmar Browald got a very nice opportunity to score, but Markus Fågel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 20th minute, Hjalmar Browald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Fågel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Markus Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Markus Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Snow in the 25th minute of the match. Torbjörn Dahlkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjörn Dahlkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of National Team Cape-Verde booed when Polly Magoo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Dahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Melander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. National Team Cape-Verde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fredric Melander in the 30th minute. The corner led National Team Cape-Verde's Roland Björklund to a score. 4-0 in the 30th minute. National Team Cape-Verde's attentive Anton Vibjörnsson managed to snatch the ball when Roy Johnsson made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. After having played for 36 minutes, Hjalmar Browald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. National Team Cape-Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hjalmar Browald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 38 in the game by Hjalmar Browald from a close distance when the talented Markus Fågel managed to make a qualified save. Polly Magoo Juniors's players were relieved. When Isak Stålman came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Polly Magoo Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isak Stålman couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hjalmar Browald got free with Markus Fågel in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hjalmar Browald scored 5-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Fågel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Karl-Ove Sörman replaced Fredric Melander. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isak Stålman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hjalmar Browald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Hjalmar Browald notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel. Markus Fågel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Sörman in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Hjalmar Browald managed to get in a good position for a shot. National Team Cape-Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Hjalmar Browald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Fågel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conny Rudkvist hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Şahap Özgu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Markus Fågel. Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute, Håkan Valrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Sörman in the 78th minute of the match. 83 minutes in the game Torbjörn Dahlkvist did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Omero Zubiaga. Markus Fågel came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by National Team Cape-Verde's Karl-Ove Sörman. But to his dismay, Karl-Ove Sörman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Karl-Ove Sörman took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Fågel. Markus Fågel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Markus Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Browald, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Karl-Ove Sörman took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Fågel. Markus Fågel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0.
