In the 13th minute, Mariusz Snow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Blixt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Anton Vibjörnsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. National Team Cape-Verde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KD Stiger the free kick. In the 17th minute, Anton Vibjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of National Team Cape-Verde booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Ersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Broberg came free, but Benjamin Blixt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Gernberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pål Sefastsson having to make a save. In the 57th minute Dick Gernberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Ülger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gunnar Bållström managed to get in a good position for a shot. KD Stiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Bållström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Sefastsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Blixt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Melander in the 66th minute of play. Johannes Stenqvist hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dick Gernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. KD Stiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Gernberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Sefastsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st match minute, National Team Cape-Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Snow to maneuver through the defense. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Ülger in the 84th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, KD Stiger's Dick Gernberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Sefastsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Dick Gernberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Sefastsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
