The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aurel Crivoi was a little too slow when Brian Bern got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Brian Bern struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Aurel Crivoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dexiators. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Hugo in the 17th minute of play forced Dexiators's goalkeeper Matthias Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Hugo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthias Lindgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Dexiators's Ove Hökqvist got a free kick in the 19th minute. Hector Hugo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthias Lindgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Matthias Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes of play, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthias Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurel Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Gustafsson in the 33rd minute of play. Hector Hugo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthias Lindgren. Matthias Lindgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 40 minutes into the match, Dexiators's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hugo came free, but Matthias Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dexiators's Tymoteusz Misiorowski in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalie prevented a goal. Hector Hugo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthias Lindgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Misiorowski in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Hugo made a kick off. A collision led to Dexiators getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ove Hökqvist hit a great ball. If Hector Hugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matthias Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Hugo in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dexiators's goalkeeper Matthias Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matthias Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Neset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dexiators's Ove Hökqvist got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Hugo got free with Matthias Lindgren in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marius Neset went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Radomil Michnik heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Hermansson got free with Matthias Lindgren in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matthias Lindgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernt Offendahl's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Brian Bern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Crivoi having to interfere. Matthias Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Michnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Radomil Michnik came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Michnik couldn't finish the play. Max Gustafsson struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute Tymoteusz Misiorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Crivoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Michnik in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
