Stardust Unicorns XI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 22 minutes into the match, Alfred Mossberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rocky Thunderbolt. Stardust Unicorns XI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Mossberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Stardust Unicorns XI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rocky Thunderbolt should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Hector Hugo put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Rocky Thunderbolt. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Kádár in the 66th minute of play. Rocky Thunderbolt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-12. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
