Protegéerna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Mikael Nordin scored to the left of an out of position Ingemar Åberg, making the score, 1-3. 35 minutes into the game, Petter Skarkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Tobias Alebäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Protegéerna fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Petter Skarkman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Alebäck having to make a save. Tobias Alebäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 42nd minute of the match. Petter Skarkman scored 1-6 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Alebäck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Guido Python ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Alebäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Guido Python showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. Guido Python could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Tobias Alebäck made a huge save. Protegéerna made a substitution. Christer Nyberg replaced Guido Python. Protegéerna's Jonny Ånger was substituted for Yasen Súlov. If Petter Skarkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fårdala FF's Tobias Alebäck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Fårdala FF from getting a goal against them. Tobias Alebäck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Skarkman went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-11 was the resulting score. The Protegéerna fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute, Petter Skarkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Alebäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-13. After some careless play in the Fårdala FF defense, Petter Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Alebäck. The Fårdala FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Alebäck should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Alebäck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-15. Christer Nyberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-16 in the 90th playminute. Petter Skarkman had several of the Fårdala FF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-17 score and a disappointed Tobias Alebäck as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match was over Protegéerna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fårdala FF throughout the match.
