Fårdala FF's Tobias Alebäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitaliy van der Aa in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 7th minute of play forced Fårdala FF's goalkeeper Tobias Alebäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Vitaliy van der Aa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tobias Alebäck. 17 minutes into the match, Fårdala FF's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Åkerman came free, but Tobias Alebäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdemar Sjöberg got free with Esbjörn Tunander in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Alebäck came out of the goal and Philip Åkerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philip Åkerman took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Alebäck. Tobias Alebäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 66th minute Sonny Marenghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes GrassNuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. Thanks to some nice moves Philip Åkerman could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Tobias Alebäck however easily saved by the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Philip Åkerman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Alebäck. Fårdala FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Åkerman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Tobias Alebäck was a little too slow when Pierre-Emile Højbjerg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-12. The GrassNuts FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GrassNuts FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
