In the 21st minute of the match Petter Lange sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Magnus Ekrot skillfully saved the ball. After 22 minutes of play, The Heren Istarion's Khamzat Chimaev made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Magnus Ekrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Kristian Ekelund made a precise shot to the right of David Bouzon. The Heren Istarion's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Heydär Hey might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Magnus Ekrot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heydär Hey ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl-Magnus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khamzat Chimaev, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute.
