After a rather tough play, Åbyggeby FK's Bengt Sellberg got a free kick in the 4th minute. The supporters of Porjus booed when Åbyggeby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Sellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Georg Termander sped through Åbyggeby FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uno Berg. After 11 played minutes Porjus got a freekick which was hit by Anton Danielsson. Thanks to some nice moves Torbjörn Hökqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Ivar Unesson however easily saved by the left post. Marko Isaksson hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ivar Unesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidar Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Unesson having to interfere. The supporters of Åbyggeby FK booed when Porjus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Åhlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Uno Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Börje Jelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Bruno Marinot threw the ball into play from the sideline. Åbyggeby FK's Börge Sefastsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marko Isaksson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, one of Åbyggeby FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Åbyggeby FK. Uno Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Porjus were awarded a corner. Börje Jelm went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Börje Jelm got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Uno Berg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Georg Termander, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Uno Berg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 45th minute Georg Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börge Sefastsson in the 46th minute of play forced Porjus's goalkeeper Ivar Unesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åbyggeby FK were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Porjus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oliver Dalgren took the corner. The Åbyggeby FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Porjus were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Termander made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Åbyggeby FK's zone, Börje Jelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uno Berg came out of the goal and Börje Jelm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Jelm in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uno Berg saved Åbyggeby FK from getting behind. Uno Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Termander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Georg Termander put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Uno Berg. Åbyggeby FK's Uno Berg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Åbyggeby FK from getting a goal against them. After 74 minutes, Bruno Marinot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porjus and the Åbyggeby FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Bruno Marinot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Unesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Sefastsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With his leg Uno Berg managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Porjus's Georg Termander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Åbyggeby FK's Uno Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Termander in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Porjus booed when Åbyggeby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Sellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Porjus's Otto Colin in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åbyggeby FK's goalie prevented a goal. The Porjus players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
