Ksawery Bondel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Termander, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Porjus were awarded a corner. Börje Jelm went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Pena in the 18th minute of play forced AC Mayonnaise's goalkeeper Ksawery Bondel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Odeen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Unesson having to interfere. AC Mayonnaise were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Porjus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simon Clementsson took the corner. The corner led AC Mayonnaise's Simon Clementsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivar Unesson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. AC Mayonnaise's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Unesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fredrik Åström was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of AC Mayonnaise booed when Porjus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Clementsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marko Isaksson fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porjus's protests and gave Marko Isaksson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Marko Isaksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But to his dismay, Fredrik Åström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ivar Unesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Åström in the 65th minute of the match. Ivar Unesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Åström, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Ksawery Bondel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 70 minutes into the match, Fredrik Åström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Unesson. Porjus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Åström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ivar Unesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Lenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Simon Clementsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Porjus players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Mayonnaise.
