Villiam Tholsson started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaj Hård kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Folke Bure. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Atakan Pepe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Folke Bure skillfully saved the ball. Villiam Tholsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Björn Ahlroht charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Björn Ahlroht the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to North Pole Kickers getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Björn Ahlroht hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Kaj Hård recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Folke Bure. Kaj Hård showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Birger Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folke Bure made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atakan Pepe in the 23rd minute. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 26th minute of play. Folke Bure made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Atakan Pepe sent off a good shot on target. Atakan Pepe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 29th playminute. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 33rd minute of play. Atakan Pepe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Folke Bure made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 37th minute of play forced North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, North Pole Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Back to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atakan Pepe. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save North Pole Kickers from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, North Pole Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Nordkvist came free, but Folke Bure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Sven Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Bure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaj Hård made a kick off. The supporters of spikarna booed when North Pole Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Wallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes North Pole Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Tholsson. The spikarna fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when spikarna's Kaj Hård looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Folke Bure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atakan Pepe in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Sven Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Bure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, North Pole Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Ahlroht to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the spikarna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
