The spikarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kaj Hård took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Folke Bure. Folke Bure dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Niklas Söderberg scored 0-3 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Bure, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to North Pole Kickers getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Anders Byström hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Sven Nordkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Hård in the 20th minute of play. Kaj Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Bure having to interfere. Folke Bure came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by spikarna's Kaj Hård. But to his dismay, Kaj Hård quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 30th minute of play forced North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, spikarna's Niklas Söderberg made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Bure was left in no man's land by his defense there! North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Hård in the 38th minute of play. Folke Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Söderberg in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atakan Pepe in the 47th minute of play forced North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaj Hård was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Folke Bure successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, North Pole Kickers's Henrik Back got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 57th minute of play forced North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Sven Nordkvist made a precise shot to the right of Folke Bure. North Pole Kickers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 62nd match minute, North Pole Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Byström in the 65th minute of play. Sven Nordkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Bure having to interfere. A collision led to North Pole Kickers getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Leonardo Forsberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Rickard Alefors got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of spikarna booed when North Pole Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Byström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure got control of the ball when Kaj Hård tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Byström came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, North Pole Kickers's Jan Wallman got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaj Hård. The North Pole Kickers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. spikarna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
