Samurai were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Preator Edikt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Allan Bivall took the corner. 12 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Tsigalko came free, but Jan Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxim Tsigalko scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Pihlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Maxim Tsigalko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 18th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Vassenius. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 22nd minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Di Cola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Nilsson in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 25th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Di Cola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Stor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxim Tsigalko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Pihlberg having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Tsigalko came free, but Jan Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Stor in the 40th minute of play. Samurai's Rutger Vallander managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernt Runeberg in the 42 minute of the game. Bernt Runeberg hit a great ball. Samurai's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Allan Bivall in the 49th minute. After the first half Samurai were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Torbjörn Nilsson made the kick off in the second half. Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg got control of the ball when Maxim Tsigalko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samurai made a substitution. Esbjörn Hultstrand replaced Timmy Henriksson. In the 67th match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Runeberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Allan Bivall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Pihlberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Torbjörn Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Di Cola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg got control of the ball when Esbjörn Hultstrand tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Bernt Runeberg in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Samurai's Rutger Vallander. In the 82nd minute, Maxim Tsigalko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Samurai walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
