When Moodys IF's Brian May in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Preator Edikt's goalie prevented a goal. When Torbjörn Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Preator Edikt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Nilsson couldn't finish the play. Azam Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Nilsson in the 12th minute of play. Horia Tătaru took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Azam Sum. Azam Sum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Azam Sum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Tătaru's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Åke Johansson charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åke Johansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Åke Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Gustavo Barbosa's shot from long distance in the 27th minute was not bad at all, but Moodys IF's Azam Sum knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Horia Tătaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azam Sum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Preator Edikt got a corner. Moodys IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Gustavo Barbosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. 42 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azam Sum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Örtendal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Nilsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torbjörn Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azam Sum having to interfere. Azam Sum came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru. But to his dismay, Horia Tătaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Preator Edikt made a substitution. Fellipe Vianna replaced Albert Örnberg. Azam Sum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Tătaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of Moodys IF booed when Preator Edikt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Blomqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjell-Arne Åberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jan Pihlberg could save by the left post. In the 75th minute of the match Moodys IF got a corner. Preator Edikt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kjell-Arne Åberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Erik Pettersson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Pihlberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Moodys IF fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Moodys IF's Erik Pettersson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Michael Stor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azam Sum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Moodys IF's corner Kjell-Arne Åberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan Pihlberg quite easily take care of the ball. During the 86th minute of the match Stig-Ove Blomqvist completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stig-Ove Blomqvist a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 89 minutes into the game, Michael Stor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Azam Sum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michael Stor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Azam Sum having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Michael Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azam Sum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azam Sum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Stor in the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Moodys IF defense, Michael Stor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azam Sum. The Moodys IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azam Sum should have stopped the shot.
