After some careless play in the AIK FOTBOLL defense, Eustaquio Pudes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Oskar Andreasson. The AIK FOTBOLL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Oskar Andreasson should have stopped the shot. Sundens BK were furious when Sven-Arne Ahlfors was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 5 minutes into the game, one of Sundens BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sven-Oskar Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Eliasson in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Sundens BK got a corner. AIK FOTBOLL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eustaquio Pudes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jonatan Stenström got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 19 minutes into the match. Sven-Oskar Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to AIK FOTBOLL getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alvin Bergfelt hit a great ball. Sven-Oskar Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Eliasson in the 24th minute of play. Marcus Vase didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the game, AIK FOTBOLL's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Vase made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 38 minutes into the game, Georg Termander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AIK FOTBOLL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundens BK the free kick. In the 39th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Termander to maneuver through the defense. Sundens BK's Eustaquio Pudes got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustaquio Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Andreasson having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Valdemar Tomasson made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, AIK FOTBOLL's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Vase made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Marcus Vase came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by AIK FOTBOLL's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille. But to his dismay, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. AIK FOTBOLL's Ian Clementsson was substituted for Valdemar Tomasson. In the 66th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Bergfelt to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Andersson in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven-Oskar Andreasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 73rd minute of the match, Per Eliasson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 75 minutes, Åke Pil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Pil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Oskar Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Wall, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Eliasson in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Oskar Andreasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustaquio Pudes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Oskar Andreasson having to make a save. Åke Pil took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Vase. Marcus Vase dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Pil in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Vase saved Sundens BK from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, AIK FOTBOLL could leave the field as winners, despite Sundens BK having more of the ball for most of the match.
