The crowd rose to their feet as Leo Ström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Axel Mellberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Ström came free, but Axel Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Julin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jan-Åke Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Sundens BK's Axel Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honu Ng in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Honu Ng tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Axel Mellberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Pudes in the 35th minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Juhlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beven Carmichael to maneuver through the defense. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Eliasson in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when Åhus Absolut F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Mellin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Arne Ahlfors charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Arne Ahlfors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sven-Arne Ahlfors hit a great ball. Coşkun Sehim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Åhus Absolut F.C's Folke Hökqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Pudes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Eustaquio Pudes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Folke Hökqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's Leo Ström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Mellberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Sundens BK's Birger Wall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan-Åke Juhlin. Jan-Åke Juhlin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Axel Mellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Ström in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Beven Carmichael got a free kick in the 66th minute. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jakob Browall was substituted for Honu Ng. After 68 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Beven Carmichael. Coşkun Sehim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Axel Mellberg. Sundens BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eustaquio Pudes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Jan-Åke Juhlin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 73rd minute Birger Wall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Browall in the 77th minute of play. Axel Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Axel Mellberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Browall's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Åhus Absolut F.C's zone, Börje Törnblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Åke Juhlin came out of the goal and Börje Törnblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Sundens BK's Per Eliasson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. With an all-out effort, Sundens BK's Jan-Åke Juhlin threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eustaquio Pudes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jakob Browall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
