Örjan Björk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan-Åke Juhlin came out and tried to block the shot, but Örjan Björk slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Örjan Björk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Åke Juhlin. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Jan-Åke Juhlin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Örjan Björk in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Björk got free with Jan-Åke Juhlin in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Åsbro Flåsegutter were awarded a corner. Alf-Inge Sørum went to the cornerflag to take it. Alf-Inge Sørum made a great header on Åsbro Flåsegutter's corner, it was just that Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Honu Ng made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Åhus Absolut F.C defense, Örjan Björk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Åke Juhlin. The Åhus Absolut F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Åke Juhlin should have stopped the shot. If Júlio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Örjan Björk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Åke Juhlin. Åhus Absolut F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Örjan Björk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Åsbro Flåsegutter made a substitution. Rickard Vallander replaced Bertil Strandberg. Jan-Åke Juhlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Björk in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Örjan Björk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Örjan Björk scored 6-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Åke Juhlin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jakob Browall was substituted for Honu Ng. 82 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Åke Juhlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Åsbro Flåsegutter were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Åhus Absolut F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alf-Inge Sørum took the corner. The corner led to Åsbro Flåsegutter's Petri Romeu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Jakub Michalski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Åke Juhlin was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 89thth minute of the game Jakob Browall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Júlio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jan-Åke Juhlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiktor Ekström made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Jakob Browall sent off a good shot on target. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Åsbro Flåsegutter from getting a goal against them. Åsbro Flåsegutter's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
