The Swedish Nightmare's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Ekeberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Björling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Hjalmar Backlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Åström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Stenström's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Backlund in the 42nd minute of play forced Bondeträsk FC's goalkeeper Leo Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, The Swedish Nightmare's goalkeeper Edgar Åström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gary Anderson. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bondeträsk FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcin Zajac was slow to take the kick. During this time The Swedish Nightmare's players had a chance to rest. Marcin Zajac made a great header on The Swedish Nightmare's corner, it was just that Bondeträsk FC's Leo Björling managed to reach the ball for a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Stenström was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rikard Nyqvist in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Åström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Åke Granqvist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Hjalmar Backlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leo Björling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hjalmar Backlund got free with Leo Björling in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leo Björling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hjalmar Backlund in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Bondeträsk FC's Leo Björling got control of the ball when Hjalmar Backlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 played minutes Bondeträsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Grelsson. After a defensive mix-up in Bondeträsk FC's zone, Marcin Zajac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Björling came out of the goal and Marcin Zajac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Hjalmar Backlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leo Björling, 1-2. Hjalmar Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Leo Björling made a huge save. Hjalmar Backlund struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Leo Björling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Swedish Nightmare. Hjalmar Backlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Leo Björling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over The Swedish Nightmare could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bondeträsk FC throughout the match.
