The referee ignored The Green Fairies's protests and gave Herbert Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. Herbert Lundström hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Freddie Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Ekeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Freddie Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Backlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo Calado struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Edgar Åström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Green Fairies. In the 23rd minute, Alexander Nordgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddie Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Swedish Nightmare's Edgar Åström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save The Swedish Nightmare from getting a goal against them. The Green Fairies's Freddie Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Backlund in the 36th minute of play. Ralf Västlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With a little luck, The Green Fairies's Freddie Mattsson got control of the ball when Hjalmar Backlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. A.J. 徐晃's late challenge caught a The Swedish Nightmare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A.J. 徐晃 helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of The Swedish Nightmare booed when The Green Fairies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. A.J. 徐晃 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Green Fairies made a substitution. Vincent Mossberg replaced Ivo Calado. A collision led to The Green Fairies getting a freekick after 73 minutes play.
