Sebastian Hedlund charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Hedlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joxa mé trasan's Ingvar Holmberg was substituted for Kevin Hellström. After 9 played minutes Black is Back got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Hedlund. The audience was convinced that Arne Bronco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Svanberg was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Joxa mé trasan's zone, Björn Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Engström came out of the goal and Björn Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georg Moberg in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Engström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Black is Back's Sebastian Hedlund got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Arne Bronco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Svanberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Ström might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Engström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björn Ström ran back to his position shaking his head. Joxa mé trasan's Edward Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Ström in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Ström came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black is Back's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl Löfgren in the 25th minute. A nice corner shot did that Karl Löfgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edward Engström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 27th minute of the match, Arne Bronco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Peter Svanberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Black is Back's Peter Svanberg got control of the ball when Fred Flinta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Black is Back were awarded a corner. Karl Löfgren made a great header on Black is Back's corner, it was just that Joxa mé trasan's Edward Engström managed to reach the ball for a save. 36 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Ström came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Björn Ström in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Engström saved Joxa mé trasan from getting behind. If Björn Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Ström in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Joxa mé trasan's Egil Bern got a free kick in the 44th minute. Karl Löfgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edward Engström. Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Björn Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice moves Björn Ström could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Edward Engström however easily saved by the left post. If Björn Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Moberg came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Björn Ström got free with Edward Engström in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Flinta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Björn Ström came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Black is Back fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Ström couldn't finish the play.
