The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adam Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Morgan Björkdahl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adam Biörnberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Morgan Björkdahl slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. Per Stenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Rönnöfors FF's players had a chance to rest. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Hajduk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Dalens Darlings's Adam Biörnberg got control of the ball when Per Tunström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henry Fagerberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Biörnberg having to make a save. In the 44th minute Per Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Henry Fagerberg made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Henry Fagerberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Biörnberg was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Adam Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Björkdahl in the 54th minute of play. Evert Kielberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalens Darlings made a substitution. Elias Björck replaced Hugo Langøy. Ximenes Sangra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evert Kielberg charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Kielberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Dalens Darlings:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rönnöfors FF:s goal. Dalens Darlings:s Adam Biörnberg showed great skill when he stopped Henry Fagerberg:s penalty. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when Dalens Darlings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Hajduk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Biörnberg in the 87th minute of play. Rönnöfors FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dalens Darlings for a fine match.
