An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 4th minute of play forced Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goalkeeper Dick Vedholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksander Gustafsson in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Andersson saved Börna Bulldogs from getting behind. Andreas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Dick Vedholm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 21st minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Börna Bulldogs's goalkeeper Andreas Andersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Börna Bulldogs's Gong Qi Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dick Vedholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Hockeysnubbarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by Smith Wigglesworth. Gong Qi Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dick Vedholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Börna Bulldogs's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Ek came free, but Andreas Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Börna Bulldogs's 肖真坚 got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Börna Bulldogs getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. 肖真坚 hit a great ball. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Dick Vedholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Hockeysnubbarnas BK from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksander Gustafsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gong Qi Fan struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Dick Vedholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Börna Bulldogs. Dick Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Qi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yngve Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Hockeysnubbarnas BK made a substitution. Kent Lindberg replaced Aleksander Gustafsson. In the 59th match minute, Börna Bulldogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Åström to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes of play, Börna Bulldogs's Gong Qi Fan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dick Vedholm was left in no man's land by his defense there! 肖真坚 hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Hockeysnubbarnas BK defense, Gong Qi Fan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dick Vedholm. The Hockeysnubbarnas BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dick Vedholm should have stopped the shot. Börna Bulldogs's Vilgot Bålström was substituted for Rob Lute. Kent Lindberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Andersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Börna Bulldogs were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hockeysnubbarnas BK for a fine match.
