The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ximenes Sangra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Dalens Darlings's Andreas Jonasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Algot Bollström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Adam Hajduk took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Algot Bollström. Algot Bollström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Dalens Darlings's Edgar Mellin got a free kick in the 17th minute. Fredric Tolsson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. RB Göteborg's Algot Bollström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximenes Sangra in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Ximenes Sangra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Algot Bollström. Ximenes Sangra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Algot Bollström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximenes Sangra in the 25th minute of play. RB Göteborg's Algot Bollström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Engström in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Dalens Darlings's Adam Hajduk made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Algot Bollström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Hajduk during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Dalens Darlings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Hajduk to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Evert Kielberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthon Söderström made a kick off. RB Göteborg's Algot Bollström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximenes Sangra in the 55th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Adam Hajduk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Algot Bollström. RB Göteborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Hajduk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 68 minutes, Ximenes Sangra made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. RB Göteborg's Algot Bollström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, RB Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Hajduk came free, but Algot Bollström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Algot Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Hajduk in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Hajduk in the 77th minute of play forced RB Göteborg's goalkeeper Algot Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Algot Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Engström in the 82nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Felix Engström put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Algot Bollström. Dalens Darlings's Jakob Pihlberg was substituted for Felix Engström. Andreas Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Algot Bollström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Hajduk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Dalens Darlings players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
