The audience was convinced that Henry Fagerberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Springfält was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The Rönnöfors FF fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Rönnöfors FF's Henry Fagerberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vilhelm Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Gunnarsson having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Lundberg's late challenge caught a Rönnöfors FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Lundberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SJÖARED getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Lundberg hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Fagerberg in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Springfält prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute of the match Rönnöfors FF got a corner. SJÖARED's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per Stenberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Rönnöfors FF's Ivar Häll getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Olimpiu Mirciulescu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Henry Fagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the SJÖARED defense, Per Tunström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Springfält. The SJÖARED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Springfält should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when SJÖARED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Stovall didn't get a good kick on the ball. SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Gustafsson in the 43rd minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Lang in the 45th minute of the match. Ivar Häll hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Torsten Åman replaced Arne Stor. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Fagerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rönnöfors FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Magne Gunnarsson had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Urban Rudberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 57 minutes into the match, SJÖARED's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Adrian Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Gustafsson came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Rönnöfors FF from getting a goal against them. After having played for 80 minutes, Per Tunström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rönnöfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Tunström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute Vidar Lang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SJÖARED's Gunnar Hellström got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Henry Fagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rönnöfors FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Fagerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Springfält breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Springfält stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Fagerberg's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 86th minute, Maxi Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Springfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxi Rodriguez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Magne Gunnarsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the SJÖARED defense, Henry Fagerberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Springfält. The SJÖARED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Springfält should have stopped the shot. If Henry Fagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Oskar Lundberg hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. If Per Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rönnöfors FF had played much better football throughout.
