An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Santxol in the 11th minute of play forced Calcio Brigate Rossonere's goalkeeper Erland Hellsing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Marcus Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Santxol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Surahammar's Victor Santxol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erland Hellsing. Erland Hellsing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Radamel Oakley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surahammar's supporters rose to their feet, but Radamel Oakley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erland Hellsing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Calcio Brigate Rossonere's goalkeeper Erland Hellsing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Santxol. Carl Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sun Lightfoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Calcio Brigate Rossonere's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Santxol came free, but Erland Hellsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When Roger Morat fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calcio Brigate Rossonere's protests and gave Roger Morat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, one of Calcio Brigate Rossonere:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calcio Brigate Rossonere. After a long run with the ball, Toninho Lara did a trick in the 55th minute in front of Calcio Brigate Rossonere's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-0. An impressive performance by Surahammar's Toninho Lara! 57 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Vacker came free, but Carl Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Hellsing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 minutes, André Pettersson made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Calcio Brigate Rossonere's Erland Hellsing tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Ove Fristedt made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nils-Emil Jespersson however managed to control. 95 minutes into the game, André Pettersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Erland Hellsing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calcio Brigate Rossonere's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
