Pranas Užkuraitis started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Pranas Užkuraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Figlewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Petr Čech made a huge save. Jan Figlewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pranas Užkuraitis in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Malin Karolev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Yahya Burçak in the 11th minute. Pranas Užkuraitis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Figlewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Batalhão do Peçanha were awarded a corner. Carter Leggeri went to the cornerflag to take it. After 21st play minutes Pranas Užkuraitis shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jan Figlewski and just under the crossbar into goal. Jan Figlewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jan Figlewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pranas Užkuraitis in the 26th minute of the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Pranas Užkuraitis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abutres 2003 FDP's Jan Figlewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Abutres 2003 FDP! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Batalhão do Peçanha. Zé Pedro Baptista stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jan Figlewski. 1-2. In the 42nd minute Pranas Užkuraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Figlewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goal looked a bit too open when Pranas Užkuraitis came free, but Jan Figlewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 66th minute, Pranas Užkuraitis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Pranas Užkuraitis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abutres 2003 FDP's Jan Figlewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Batalhão do Peçanha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carter Leggeri in the 74th minute. Zé Pedro Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Figlewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Pedro Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Vergílio in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Jan Figlewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pranas Užkuraitis. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Batalhão do Peçanha would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
