In the 2nd match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Capasso to maneuver through the defense. Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 9 minutes, Augusto Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gracie Barra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Gracie Barra from getting a goal against them. Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Augusto Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 42nd minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Velloso scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Couto made a kick off. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gracie Barra's Pedro Velloso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. That made the score 1-3 after 56 minutes of play. Thiago Silvan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Merusca F&P made a substitution. Marcinho Sabóia replaced Fumanchu Ponta. Gracie Barra made a substitution. Nilton Botelho replaced Pedro Velloso. Merusca F&P made a substitution. Hélder Fonseca replaced Florian Capasso. After 64 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Silvan. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Snorri De Hond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gracie Barra's supporters rose to their feet, but Snorri De Hond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro-Facundo Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Meleșcanu to maneuver through the defense. Snorri De Hond might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Snorri De Hond ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Fonseca came free, but Falcão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Hélder Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merusca F&P fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Gracie Barra players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
