Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Luís da Rocha ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Jair Bostan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Onurhan in the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® got a freekick which was hit by Zhou Hong Jie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou Hong Jie in the 37th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Cano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flóki Factor in the 52nd minute of play. Dolfo Burgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel got control of the ball when Arif Onurhan tried to sneak it across the goal line.
