Demetrio Greco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute Teodoro Chale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Greco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Lalli in the 10th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Amerigo Minicucci hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, Santoryu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Facchini to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Ermanno Lalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Carnevale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Facchini kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Carmine Cavanna scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Carnevale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute, Carmine Cavanna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laykers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Chale in the 31st minute of play forced Laykers's goalkeeper Demetrio Greco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Elia Strano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercole Carnevale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Lalli, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Laykers's Demetrio Greco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Nero in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Cesare Romano notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Laykers's Demetrio Greco. Demetrio Greco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44thth minute of the game Teodoro Chale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laykers's Demetrio Greco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demetrio Greco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Nero in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Laykers's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Nero came free, but Demetrio Greco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Romano in the 52nd minute of play forced Laykers's goalkeeper Demetrio Greco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demetrio Greco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Romano in the 56th minute of play. Demetrio Greco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demetrio Greco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Chale's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute of the match Santoryu FC got a corner. Laykers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elia Strano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Santoryu FC made a substitution. Andrea Muciaccia replaced Elia Strano. With a little luck, Laykers's Demetrio Greco got control of the ball when Dennis Nero tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Carmine Cavanna fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laykers's protests and gave Carmine Cavanna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Carmine Cavanna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santoryu FC made a substitution. Yıldırım Buminhan replaced Dennis Nero. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when Laykers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Cavanna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes, Santoryu FC's Andrea Muciaccia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demetrio Greco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santoryu FC reached it. In the 82nd match minute, Santoryu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Pere to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Demetrio Greco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
