The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeferson Toledo was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's zone, Edmundo da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Sarmento came out of the goal and Edmundo da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Ruy Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Sarmento. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruy Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil dos Santos in the 65th minute of play forced Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Oscar Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer Leão to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo da Cunha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The corner led Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques to fire away a dangerous shot which Oscar Saraiva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gil dos Santos was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gil dos Santos hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Edmundo da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute Jeferson Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
