In the 5th minute, AF CERRADO's Didi Gaúcho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 7th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Catugi FC booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Gustavo do Valle hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Artur Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luizão Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luizão Braga came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by AF CERRADO's Luizinho Antunes. But to his dismay, Luizinho Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Luizinho Antunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luizão Braga was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Luizão Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizinho Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Luizão Braga managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when AF CERRADO's Luizinho Antunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Armandinho de Salles's late challenge caught a Catugi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armandinho de Salles helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Armandinho de Salles got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 36th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Batista to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Catugi FC's zone, Artur Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizão Braga came out of the goal and Artur Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luizão Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luizinho Antunes's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Armandinho de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizão Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Artur Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 55th minute, Artur Sergipano made a precise shot to the right of Luizão Braga. Catugi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Luiz Gustavo do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Didi Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luizão Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Luizão Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Daniel Couto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Antunes in the 78th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Luizão Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Luizinho Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catugi FC's Luizão Braga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Dida Batista got a free kick in the 81st minute. Arí Motta scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Gaúcho came free, but Luizão Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, one of Catugi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Catugi FC. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for AF CERRADO. Artur Sergipano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luizão Braga. 6-0. After 96th play minutes Arí Motta shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Luizão Braga and just under the crossbar into goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AF CERRADO had played much better football throughout.
