Elano Velloso hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Baltazar Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Coelho in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Capixaba in the 12th minute of play forced Fabiofs's goalkeeper Adelino Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Ronaldinho Messias put in a rough tackle. In the 18th minute, Ronaldinho Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Ceresso in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Fabiofs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Valadares to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Ceresso in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adelino Eger saved Fabiofs from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Loyola in the 31st minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Baltazar Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiofs's Washington Baptista was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baltazar Prata in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Fabiofs booed when Premier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Britto in the 39th minute of play. After 42 minutes Premier FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Washington Baptista who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Washington Baptista got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baltazar Prata quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Britto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jânio Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Adelino Eger made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Premier FC's Juarês Toledo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Baltazar Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st match minute, Premier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Britto to maneuver through the defense. Charles Ceresso might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Eger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Ceresso ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 68 minutes, Leopoldo Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fabiofs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Ceresso came free, but Adelino Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Rubens Maia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fabiofs's Adelino Eger did a great save. In the 76th minute, Gustavo Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Charles Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Premier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Ceresso in the 83rd minute of play forced Fabiofs's goalkeeper Adelino Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Eger made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Jânio Madureira sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Leopoldo Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Baltazar Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Ceresso in the 93rd minute of play. Adelino Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fabiofs players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
