Rômulo Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Gilmar Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cancelo Gol having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Marquez in the 14th minute of play forced Primatas FC's goalkeeper Cancelo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Primatas FC's Arlindo Madureira got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Primatas FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Toninho Prestes hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Juan de Almeida sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cancelo Gol skillfully saved the ball. Cancelo Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Severino Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Marquez in the 31st minute of play forced Primatas FC's goalkeeper Cancelo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Severino Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUSHIBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Primatas FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Juninho Quintal hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Meira was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Silvério Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cancelo Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Silvério Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primatas FC's Cancelo Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Meira in the 71st minute of play. Cancelo Gol came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez. But to his dismay, Severino Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Primatas FC's Ismael Mazza was substituted for Pinto Gigante. After 81 minutes, Régis Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUSHIBA FC and the Primatas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Sampaio. Rômulo Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan de Almeida during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 minutes of play Primatas FC's Arlindo Madureira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when Primatas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan de Almeida. 94 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Fantini came free, but Rômulo Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rômulo Souto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
