Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antônio Motta started the match with the kick off. Sydney Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Granadero10's zone, Eliseu Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Barros came out of the goal and Eliseu Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Furlan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sydney Barros firmly grabbed it by the left post. Célio Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sydney Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Amadeu Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sydney Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Motta in the 26th minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Al-Fajuth's Abel Vidal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Granadero10. Amadeu Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sydney Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeu Furlan ran back to his position shaking his head. Sidnei Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Sydney Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al-Fajuth. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Eliseu Alagoano took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Barros. Sydney Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Eliseu Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Sidnei Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sydney Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sydney Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Sidnei Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Francisco Netto hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Santana. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antônio Motta during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antônio Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Wilson Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Barros having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Antônio Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Rodolfo de Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granadero10's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Fajuth the free kick. In the 88th minute, Rodolfo de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Fabrício Brunovskis got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Eliseu Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granadero10's Sydney Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
