Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Jefferson Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Wilson Matorin made a precise shot to the right of Sydney Barros. Granadero10's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Leonel Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 21st minute. Sydney Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rômulo Soares's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Wilson Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sydney Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granadero10's goalkeeper Sydney Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match Al-Fajuth got a corner. Granadero10's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maicon Zanette ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 33rd match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Brunovskis to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Édouard Mendy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Augusto Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Valdomiro Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The Granadero10 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Al-Fajuth were winning 0-1.

In the 58th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Alagoano in the 61st minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Sydney Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Barros having to interfere. Betão Senna scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Édouard Mendy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Granadero10's zone, Eliseu Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Barros came out of the goal and Eliseu Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Léo Ortiz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Betão Senna fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granadero10's protests and gave Betão Senna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Betão Senna hit a great ball. Sydney Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Alagoano in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Célio Albuquerque during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Célio Albuquerque got a free kick in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
