Luiz Baiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fernando Baiano having to make a save. 4 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvério Carneiro. After 6 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by André Toledo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Baiano in the 8th minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Compostela FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Roberto Galvão in the 12th minute. The corner led Compostela FSCMZ's Zé Roberto Galvão to fire away a dangerous shot which Clemente Lopez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 13th minute, Celsinho Dionísio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Fernando Baiano. The goal made the score 1-0. Luiz Baiano hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Compostela FSCMZ's Leonardo Teixeira got a free kick in the 18th minute. Luiz Fernando Baiano made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Celsinho Dionísio sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Fernando Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, André Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Compostela FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Compostela FSCMZ's Luiz Fernando Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Baiano in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Compostela FSCMZ's Luiz Fernando Baiano got control of the ball when Celsinho Dionísio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Teixeira made a kick off. Luiz Fernando Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Dionísio in the 51st minute of the match. The Brasiliense FC fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Brasiliense FC's Celsinho Dionísio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luiz Fernando Baiano came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Brasiliense FC's Silvério Carneiro. But to his dismay, Silvério Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Compostela FSCMZ's Almir Faria was substituted for Cesinha Paraense. After 62 played minutes Brasiliense FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Furtado. André Toledo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Clemente Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Compostela FSCMZ. In the 67th match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Quirino to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Silvério Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Baiano. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvério Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. André Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Lopez having to interfere. A collision led to Compostela FSCMZ getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Amadeu Munhoz hit a great ball. Raimundo Reis scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fernando Baiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celsinho Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celsinho Dionísio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Celsinho Dionísio got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Teixeira came free, but Clemente Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fernando Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Baiano in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Compostela FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball.
