Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Pedro Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Simões to maneuver through the defense. In the 12thth minute of the game Allan Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curiphila Eagles's Benedito Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Tião Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedito Vale skillfully saved the ball. Curiphila Eagles's Benedito Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Fontes in the 15th minute of play. Benedito Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Jonas Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Couto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, José Pedro Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curiphila Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davi Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jonas Massa hit a great ball. If Antônio Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Fontes in the 28th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Benedito Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tião Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Adalberto Teixeira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davi Couto skillfully saved the ball. Davi Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Seco in the 39th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Davi Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes of play, October 04's Antônio Fontes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedito Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio Fontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute October 04 were awarded a corner. Tião Amaral went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Rodolfo Munhoz to score against Benedito Vale in Curiphila Eagles's goal. 0-3 after 53 minutes. After 56 minutes of play, October 04's Antônio Fontes made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedito Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! When October 04's Antônio Fontes in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curiphila Eagles's goalie prevented a goal. After 61 minutes, Adalberto Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curiphila Eagles and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adalberto Teixeira hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Antônio Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Vale having to interfere. Luís Eduardo França did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Benedito Vale 66 minutes into the match. Luís Eduardo França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Benedito Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Alex Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. October 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Mello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, October 04's Durvalino Albuquerque dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Donato Prestes's late challenge caught a October 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of October 04 booed when Curiphila Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes, Percy Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curiphila Eagles and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. October 04's Antônio Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. October 04's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
