Ronaldinho Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Téo de Senna during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After 32 minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilmar Pires who took care of the corner kick. Anderbye FC's Gilmar Pires was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xandinho Bomba in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anderbye FC's Lince Negro got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lince Negro got free with Xandinho Bomba in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Paulo Salles made a kick off. The supporters of Anderbye FC booed when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lince Negro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Xandinho Bomba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ defense, Lince Negro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xandinho Bomba. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xandinho Bomba should have stopped the shot. Xandinho Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lince Negro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute, Lince Negro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anderbye FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lince Negro in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xandinho Bomba saved Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Elivélton Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xandinho Bomba was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 79th minute, Téo de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anderbye FC's Lince Negro got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Lima got free with Ander Bye in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lince Negro in the 86th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Gonçalves came free, but Ander Bye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Anderbye FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
