The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bebeto Sarmento to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Souto hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Silvério Barral's late challenge caught a Capivara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Barral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Barral to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Silvério Barral hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Ronaldinho Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bebeto Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Capivara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bebeto Sarmento couldn't finish the play. Jailson Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Fernandez having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Dieguinho Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Silvério Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Capivara FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Capivara FC.
