Luís Fabiano Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ander Bye having to interfere. If Luiz Gustavo Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Irreal Madrid defense, Lince Negro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundo Mineiro. The Irreal Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundo Mineiro should have stopped the shot. Edmundo Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lince Negro in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Dráusio Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anderbye FC's Ander Bye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Leão in the 33rd minute of play. Edmundo Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes Irreal Madrid's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilmar Pires who took care of the corner kick. Irreal Madrid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Lince Negro scored to the left of an out of position Edmundo Mineiro, making the score, 2-0. Leandro Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Mandi Oca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lince Negro made the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lince Negro in the 57th minute of play. Anderbye FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Irreal Madrid's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilmar Pires took the corner. Edmundo Mineiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuri Reis's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Edmundo Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lince Negro in the 63rd minute of the match. Edmundo Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Irreal Madrid getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Leão hit a great ball. Lince Negro took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Mineiro. Edmundo Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 75th minute, Gilmar Pires made a precise shot to the right of Edmundo Mineiro. Irreal Madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Irreal Madrid made a substitution. José Pedro Travassos replaced Lenílson Azevedo. After 79 minutes, Afonso Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anderbye FC and the Irreal Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Alves. Anderbye FC were furious when Afonso Alves was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a little luck, Anderbye FC's Ander Bye got control of the ball when Dráusio Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Anderbye FC's Elivélton Ferraz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundo Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmundo Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivélton Ferraz scored 6-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmundo Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Anderbye FC had played much better football throughout.
