Luisão Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Edmundo Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Irreal Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Silvério Barral put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edmundo Mineiro. After a rather tough play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Marquinhos Brasil got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 39 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Silva. After 44th play minutes Ronaldinho Lima shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Edmundo Mineiro and just under the crossbar into goal.

In the 64th match minute, Irreal Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Couto to maneuver through the defense. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Pedro Paulo Salles was substituted for Giuseppe da Costa. William Couto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 1-3 became the score in the 66th minute when Silvério Barral elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Xandinho Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
