LauerArmy's Mazinho Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Arruda in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ got a corner. LauerArmy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian Alves ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 24 played minutes ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Mangueira. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Waldemar Brodel hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes LauerArmy got a freekick which was hit by James Rodriguez. In the 37th minute James Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Nogueira. In the 39th minute Waldemar Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Arruda. After having played for 89 minutes, Hélder dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LauerArmy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when James Rodriguez got free with Luiz Fernando Matos in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Nogueira. After recieving a nice pass, LauerArmy's Waldemar Brodel tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. LauerArmy's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ had won, even though LauerArmy had held more of the ball.
