Ique Football Club's Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ique Football Club from getting a goal against them. Jardel Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José da Costa in the 43rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Paulo José da Costa sped through Barrenta SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jardel Varela. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo José da Costa in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jardel Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernani Couto to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Barrenta SC's Jardel Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo-Henrique Ganso in the 66th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ique Football Club's Luciano Vasconcelos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jardel Varela. That made the score 0-7 after 67 minutes of play. 72 minutes into the match, Paulo José da Costa notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Barrenta SC's Jardel Varela. Jardel Varela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Duarte Arósio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jardel Varela. Barrenta SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Paulo José da Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jardel Varela, 0-11.
