The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, Gato Preto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Prata to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 12 minutes, Fernandinho de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ique Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo José de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Paulo-Henrique Ganso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maicon Prata hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Gato Preto FC got a freekick which was hit by André Vasconcelos. Duarte Arósio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chicão Peixoto having to make a save. Chicão Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo José da Costa's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Paulo José da Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Peixoto was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Paulo-Henrique Ganso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo-Henrique Ganso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho de Carvalho in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo José da Costa in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chicão Peixoto saved Gato Preto FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gato Preto FC's Caco da Costa got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th match minute, Ique Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maicon Prata showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute Paulo José da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chicão Peixoto stood somewhat misplaced when Paulo José da Costa came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 55 minute. Chicão Peixoto was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Paulo José da Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo José da Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Chicão Peixoto came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ique Football Club's Paulo José da Costa. But to his dismay, Paulo José da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. If Paulo José da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo José da Costa got free with Chicão Peixoto in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Gato Preto FC from getting a goal against them. When Ique Football Club's Paulo José da Costa in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gato Preto FC's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo José da Costa in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chicão Peixoto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 95 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho de Medeiros came free, but Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes Hamílton Vieira rounded Gato Preto FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Ique Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gato Preto FC.
