Wanderson Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 31 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Doni Pimenta. After having played for 35 minutes, Zé Orella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Orella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Nelson Xavier got a free kick in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel de Souza during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wanderson Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelsinho Marinho went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

In the 53rd minute, Nelsinho Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wanderson Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 56 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Pirani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wanderson Silveira. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Pirani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Cauã Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, OTTO FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Koehler to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Neira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Nelsinho Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wanderson Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wanderson Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Xavier couldn't finish the play. Doni Pimenta hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, João Augusto Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the OTTO FC - FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palestra do Interior.
