Nelsinho Marinho started the match with the kick off. Mário Urbano charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute Nelsinho Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 11 minutes on the clock, Maicon da Rocha commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Qjos MiLLano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Qjos MiLLano:s Caio Ferreira showed great skill when he stopped Nelsinho Marinho:s penalty. 17 minutes into the game, Wellington Bezerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qjos MiLLano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra do Interior the free kick. Wellington Bezerra hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Pirani scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caio Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute Ronaldo Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Marinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio Ferreira. Qjos MiLLano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelsinho Marinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Caio Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Qjos MiLLano's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pirani came free, but Caio Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Nelsinho Marinho made a precise shot to the right of Caio Ferreira. Qjos MiLLano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Marinho in the 47th minute of play forced Qjos MiLLano's goalkeeper Caio Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wellington Bezerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 0-5 became the score in the 53rd minute when Nelsinho Marinho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Qjos MiLLano defense, Nelson Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio Ferreira. The Qjos MiLLano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio Ferreira should have stopped the shot. Nelsinho Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Caio Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Nelsinho Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Xavier to maneuver through the defense. Palestra do Interior's Dênis Vander was substituted for Pau Lin-Carlos. Palestra do Interior's Serafim Simão was substituted for Ezequiel de Souza. Nelson Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Mário Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the game, Nelsinho Marinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Caio Ferreira. Nelsinho Marinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ronaldo Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nelsinho Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Palestra do Interior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Marinho couldn't finish the play. Palestra do Interior's Dênis Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Marinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio Ferreira. Qjos MiLLano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelsinho Marinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Ronaldo Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Caio Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Palestra do Interior left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Qjos MiLLano.
