Oscar Vinhas started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Natã Rosa sped through OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wanderson Silveira. Wanderson Silveira was a little too slow when Adelino Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 11th minute, Geovanni Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Costa to maneuver through the defense. Agnaldo Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Vinhas in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Merusca F&P getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Maurício Antunes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Rosa in the 22nd minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Wanderson Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Oscar Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Tinoco having to interfere. Dieguinho Rossi's late challenge caught a OTTO FC - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dieguinho Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. Dieguinho Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Merusca F&P's zone, Allan Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Tinoco came out of the goal and Allan Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to OTTO FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Abreu hit a great ball. Wanderson Silveira was a little too slow when Natã Rosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. Agnaldo Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute OTTO FC - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Arí Fantini went to the cornerflag to take it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natã Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Oscar Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Oscar Vinhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Agnaldo Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Wanderson Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Salles in the 65th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Wanderson Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Valadares in the 78th minute of play. The Merusca F&P players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
