When Fernando Cunha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. Thiago Furtado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo de Mendonça came out and tried to block the shot, but Thiago Furtado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, UPTEXTIL.COM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Tande to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zac Ba Loua in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Thiago Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UPTEXTIL.COM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Verde F.C CIMZ the free kick. A collision led to UPTEXTIL.COM getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. In the 44th minute Thiago Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baltazar Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Xavier. In the 58th minute Sabo D Agostino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
