After 39 minutes of play, Clube do Remo MZ's Ricardinho Simão made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruy Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clube do Remo MZ's Ricardinho Simão got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Ricardinho Simão off the ground. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeu Correia to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho de Mendonça came free, but Ruy Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gernando Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruy Loureiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toninho de Mendonça went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Ruy Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Vasconcelos in the 65th minute of the match. When Edinho Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube do Remo MZ's protests and gave Edinho Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Clube do Remo MZ got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Vasconcelos. Frederico Smith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Gernando Maciel got in the 76th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ruy Loureiro handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 77 minutes of play, Clube do Remo MZ's Naldo da Cunha made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruy Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael Mandrak scored 8-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Clube do Remo MZ's Gernando Maciel in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy Loureiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ruy Loureiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Mandrak went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Clube do Remo MZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
