In the 3rd minute, Flaco López left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JFSP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Pietro Sales hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Flaco López managed to get in a good position for a shot. JFSP's supporters rose to their feet, but Flaco López was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Cassia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Flaco López came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the JFSP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flaco López couldn't finish the play. Pietro Sales kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Fantini came free, but Võ Gozali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Hermes's late challenge caught a A.A. Francana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
